View of Marina at Sheraton Resort

This is the marina at San Diego off of Harbor Island Dr. This view is the view outside our hotel room at the Sheraton. Very nice hotel, but lousy checking in service almost 1 hour to check in on a Sunday at 3pm. I took this from the street view to get a really cool shot.

Summer Rain in July

California is definitely has the strangest weather. In Riverside on the 4th of July, it was muggy, cloudy, and uncomfortable. In the Cherry Valley/Yucaipa/Calimesa area,  where I live, it was pouring down buckets. I spent most of the day reading articles from other writers and the other part with my family. It is so cool to spend time with my hubby, my son,Nic, and our newest edition, Sophie,  whopping 15 lbs at  3 months old.

I absolutely love being a mom. I  love teaching my kids. I love hugging them and seeing them smile. Even though, we could not go outside. We watched the rain come down for about a half an hour. Nic excitedly yells out " Rain! Rain! Rain!

Triond.com Community

This was the first writing site I signed up on and I really enjoy reading the works of other writers. I like the community I have joined. I have also joined Redgage.com and wikinut.com, but Triond.com is so much more user friendly for writers like me. I have not made tons of money, but for me it is an outlet for my writing. Somewhere I go to learn and exchange ideas. I am now learning from writing.com also. I hope to find more writers like me on twitter and FB.
